I think that most people with a decent IQ would not wish to be a police officer these days. They are damned if they try and damned if they don't. You should not expect beat officers to know the law on everything that goes on these days. I will continue to support all police officers and treat them with respect.

I served for 30 years, retired 8 years ago. I am ashamed with the level of ignorance in the Police. I saw it first hand as the standard of recruiting went downhill and new officers could not think for themselves or even, talk to people. I would have used this encounter to learn firsthand about drones, if I lacked the knowledge that these two clearly do. If your drone was painted in rainbow colours you would have been ok. Ignorance and Woke go hand in hand and are destroying the Police and any respect that people have for them
